In the months leading up to Election Day today, PolitiFact Georgia was there as the claims went flying from the candidates for governor and from those in those in pursuit of a U.S. Senate seat representing the Peach State.

Dozens of voter polls and expert projections show both races in a dead heat.

Before you head to the ballot box, you can read up on Truth-O-Meter rulings related to the Republican Gov. Nathan Deal and his Democratic challenger, state Sen. Jason Carter.

In the Senate race, which could help decide which party controls the chamber, rulings related to Democrat Michelle Nunn are here, and those related to Republican David Perdue are here.

Polls open at 7 a.m.  If you need help finding where to vote, visit the My Voter Page of the Secretary of State’s website.
