Jorge Elorza
Jorge O. Elorza was elected mayor of Providence in 2014. A professor at the Roger Williams University School of Law, he is co-founder of the Latino Policy Institute at Roger Williams University and stepped down as a judge on the Providence Housing Court in 2014 to run for mayor. He received his law degree from Harvard University in 2003, and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island.
