Back to Provide the CDC $50 million in funding to determine effective approaches for cancer patient care

No CDC money for cancer care

The Obama administration has sent more money to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; the stimulus package passed earlier this year included more money for immunizations, among other things. But we haven't been able to find new funding to determine the most effective approaches for cancer patient care. We checked in with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; a spokesman said the money might come later, but didn't provide any other details.

Because there has been no action yet, we rate this promise Stalled.
